As the English rugby fans brace themselves for their biggest game in four years, Team PSP find themselves in a similar neck to neck battle with the South Africans, only this involves Thundercats and water! Originating in South Africa, Thundercats are 4m inflatable boats built to race in the surf at speeds of up to 50mph.
The rivalry this weekend will be at a peak as adrenalin fuelled competitors battle it out on the water. The Thundercat season is nearing an end and the points gathered this weekend will be crucial for the national championship ratings.
Team PSP, Scott Wilson and Kev Elford two fire fighters from Plymouth, are the highest placed British team in the league table and have shown great confidence, stamina and skill during this racing season, gaining podium finishes on almost every outing.
This exciting spectacle takes place this weekend in Stokes Bay, Gosport. It’s the penultimate national competition and as the South African teams have dominated the series, this is the time to prove who’s really best!! *British Thundercats are go! *
